Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, spinach, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper. Gently mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
3. Roll the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
4. Place meatballs in a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and sauce is bubbly.
6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs during the last 5 minutes of baking.
7. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
