Ingredients

1 lb ground beef<br />
1/2 lb ground pork<br />
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry<br />
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese<br />
1/4 cup breadcrumbs<br />
4 cloves garlic, minced<br />
1 large egg, lightly beaten<br />
1 teaspoon dried oregano<br />
1/2 teaspoon salt<br />
1/4 teaspoon black pepper<br />
1 cup marinara sauce<br />
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).<br />
2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, spinach, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper. Gently mix until just combined. Do not overmix.<br />
3. Roll the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs.<br />
4. Place meatballs in a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.<br />
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and sauce is bubbly.<br />
6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs during the last 5 minutes of baking.<br />
7. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
